Dear Customers! We're out of the office from the 6th of October to the 11th of October. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. For WordPress 5.5.* related issues, please visit this article.
Well, you can try using the "Image Gallery" element within the WPBakery Page Builder. It's indeed a slider but you can disable the "slide" functionality. You may also set the "On click action" to "Open prettyPhoto":
Hi,
On one page, I want several image albums.
Each album has several images.
Only the first image should be visible, with a title, and when clicked all pictures of that album popup in lightbox on same page.
How can this be achieved with your theme ?
Do I need another plugin for this, or can I use hooks in functions.php, css or change template files ?
Please point us in the right direction.
We love the theme, and this is our only question, after which I can five star rate, and recommend the theme on the comments sections.
thanks

That should give you something very, very close to what you're looking for. Except for that part that people can still swipe between slides.
And thank you so much for your kind words, we truly appreciate it!

you genius ! :)
I can easily hide the "next/prev" and the dots underneath with css.
Last question: can I use lightbox or a more modern pop-up ? pretty photo looks outdated and not ux friendly.
Your popup effect here would be awesome http://www.engage.veented.com/elements/portfolios/
Haha, thank you!
You could but that would require some more advanced tweaks in the theme's code (which falls into a paid customization area), I'm really sorry.
