I'd like to remove the author name under each blog post in the main blog page. I can see the option for single posts but I can't find that option for the blog page.
You are right -there isn't an option at the moment, but that is a great idea! Add it to the thread link below so that the developer can get that added for the next main theme update:

If at all possible (if you haven't already) we would super appreciate it if you get a chance to leave a review on our Themeforest page? That helps us to continue to build and develop future updates for the theme. We've have a couple of very unfair reviews despite our best efforts with them :/

Thanks - almost worked perfectly, however it still says "By on 18/10/2017"
Can all that be removed too by adding code to the CSS Code box?

Yes sure, replace the CSS snippet I gave you before with this one:
.post-holder .post-info .post-meta {display:none;}That will remove that whole line: By, author, on, date.
