There isn't a 'boxed' layout style that you set specifically via the Theme Options as the boxed style is an old style and is becoming obsolete over the last 10 years with responsive design.
But, you can have boxed style by just leaving your WPBakery Page Builder Row Settings to default and not set them to fullwidth or stretched and so that the elements stay within the main container.

In the page editor, in each Row, click on the 'Row Settings'.
In the 'General' tab > Row Stretch: Leave the dropdown as 'default'.

Ah, now i see.
But when i leave it to "default" i do not get the desired effect. What do i make wrong?

thank you. I know it's not the most modern thing to do boxed layouts. But many sites still use it. Basically it would add flexibilty to the theme.
