Ah, no. Featured images aren't usually supported on pages unless there is something specific built in (like on a post or on a portfolio image).
You can customise the page title via the meta boxes at the bottom of the page editor, or you can customise the whole page fully via the WPBakery page builder.
Pages have way more customisation and freedom to add items in. Posts and custom posts are somewhat restricted and that's why the featured image would be used. (Basically featured image is not needed on Pages)

i have several pages with featured images.
None of those pages are showing the featured image.

What's interesting: if i search for the page, the featured image IS SHOWN within the page.

That’s a page. The problem only appears on pages.
