Sticky footers

    Hi Engage team,

I would like to know whether I can get the footer to stick to bottom of the screen if there is not much content on the page. I tried to google the problem and found a half of the solution - using position:absolute in custom css makes the footer always appear on the bottom of the screen, however, if there is enough content on the page to make it scrollable the footer appear behind the semi-transparent content, sticking to the bottom of the screen.

I want a footer that sticks to the bottom of the screen only if there is not enough content to push it there or lower than that automatically.

    Best regards, Andrew

Oh, and while we are at it - I'd like to make a row on one of my pages stick to bottom of the screen as well. I've tried to add custom css class to that row and added simple css code (position: absolute and bottom: 0px), which should have worked, but row stayed where is was. I have other rows below, can it cause the problem?

What I want is an image that takes about 75% of the screen and a row with several counters below it, which can be seen right after opening the webpage (not after scroll).

    Hi Andrew!

You're right - it would require some more advanced tweaks in the code and is something beyond the scope of our free support. I could provide you with some simple code but as your example shown: it would only bring some issues in certain cases (like regular page content or mobile devices). The script would have to dynamically detect if the footer should be sticky or not - thus, calculate the page content height in connection to the browser window size - it's pretty complex. It is more of a customization request for at least an hour of work.

The same thing goes for your other requests - sticky elements are complex to be done if they are not sticky ALWAYS but only if certain conditions are met. I'm sorry!

    Kind Regards,
