Dear Customers! We're out of the office from the 6th of October to the 11th of October. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. For WordPress 5.5.* related issues, please visit this article.
Is there any way to delay when the navigation header becomes "sticky".
Currently after scrolling past the top logo, the header becomes "sticky" was wondering if this could be adjusted to become "sticky" after say, 500px? An adjustment in the .js file or something?
Well, sure it is possible but it's not an "out of the box" feature - yet! We're definitely going to add more sticky options in next theme updates, maybe even the very next one?
I'll be super glad to incorporate this even today but just before we continue, can you please let me know how exactly would you see it? So the initial header is fixed - it doesn't move at all. When you scroll down it gets "hidden" behind the browser viewport, is that correct? And then, after scrolling 500 pixels it slides from top and appears again - please let me know if that's what you mean.
First off - thank you so much for your kind words, it's so nice to hear! We're truly happy that you like Engage.
It's there! I'm so sorry it took us a while but we wanted to make sure to test everything out. We're presenting a new value in the "Sticky Header" (in Theme Options / Header) option called "Sticky Appear" that does exactly what we discussed. In addition, when that particular header behaviour is selected, a new field "Scroll Amount" is available where you can customize the amount of pixels to be scrolled for the secondary header to appear (by default it's set to 500):
We're going to release an official theme update a bit later but I just sent you a new theme zip file on your e-mail (not going to paste it here since this is a public ticket).
And please don't forget to rate our theme on ThemeForest (right below the Buy Now button on the Item Page or in your Downloads tab) - thank you so much in advance!

Hi Filip,
Thanks for your reply, yes what I was thinking is as you described, fixed initially and after scrolling 500px the navigation would reappear.
FYI, Engage is probably the best WP theme I've worked with to date
