    Hello, good evening,

I have a few guestions for my site:

    hvb-bouw.nl/wp-admin
    HopmanVB
    Vastgoed25

    - In the theme seems to be a portfolio > Minimal Four Fullwidth, but I don't get it fullwidth in the site. How should I do that? (home and projecten page)

    - How do I get the Google maps fullwidth? (contact page)

    - How can I make the phone number in the widget clickable, so you can call right away on mobile to? (contact page and footer)

    - Many things aren't responsive! for example: - the text in de titles on each page,  - the icons sliding across each other instead of below each other (home, Diensten and the 5 child pages), - on the contact page, the address information not covered by the contact form, but is it weird side by side...

I hope you can answer me ASAP, my customer is waiting for a new site.  Can you answer me on [email protected]. Thanks in advance!

    Hi burofraai,

    1) & 2) You haven't set the Row to fullwidth, otherwise it will just stay the width of the container.

Row settings > Row Stretch (choose one from the dropdown settings).

    3) To do this you would need to add in your own custom code to the theme -I can point out which files to edit if you need that?

    4) I mentioned this before for this website -your minifying/compressing enabled on your site and server is causing the conflicts in the CSS for the responsive items styling. You will need to disable the minifying/compressing to fix this.

Let me know how you get on.

    Kind regards,
    Joanna

    hi Joanna,

Thanx for your email. I still have a few questions.

1 & 2: I adjusted, but I get them not quite fullwidth, is that right? There remain white edges on the sides.

    3) Please, help me! Thx

    4) Can you tell me what to do to fix this? Where can I do this? I hoped this gone automatically....

    Thank you very much!

    Hi Selesta!

    1) Yep, there shouldn't be a gap there. Looks it's like it's because of the way it's loading in from no.4) below.

    3) I can see looking at the code that it should be a telephone click through, but currently it shows as a email click through. We'll get this fixed for the next main theme update.

    4) You will need to contact your website designer or administrator to sort that out, or contact your hosting as it is not a theme issue and is server/website side.

    Kind regards,
    Joanna

    Hello,

I'm really not happy with it. We buy a Responsive theme, but it is not
responsive. I really do think that you need to solve. When I ask my
system administrator to fix this, that cost me money. I think that is not right.

    I'm waiting for your response.

    Kind regards, Selesta

    Hi Selesta,

The issue you have there is that the server problem, not a theme problem. The server is loading items in incorrectly due to the minifying/compressing that is enabled.

You are absolutely right, your administrator should not charge you extra for this as it is a bug on their end and they need to fix it. If not, I recommend you change from them and go to another hosting company that does not charge you to fix their problems.

Once that is disabled the theme will show correctly. The theme is responsive, but your server is breaking it.

    Kind regards,
    Joanna

    Hi Joanna,

This is the answer of mij administrator:

On all our sites running standard Mod Page speed. This compresses and combines the website files up to 400% indeed faster.
A few wordpress themes cannot handle it and then you have to turn it off.
I have now turned it off for this site. I hope you solved problems with that, otherwise you can get them at that theme so once again.

What now? I built a lot of sites, but I have never had this problem.

What should I do to solve this? I bought a responsive site, but I didn't have this now. How should I tell this to my customer?

    Greatings, Selesta

    Hi burofraai,

It should be fixed now, I've logged in to test it and unchecked this:

Visual Composer > General Settings > Disable responsive content elements (it was ticked and not responding before).

You can now re-enable your minification/compressing

    Kind regards,
